Jungle Themed Birthday Party

My nephew recently just turned 2. I threw him a jungle themed birthday party.
Foot prints leading up to the front door. This was very easy but a bit time consuming. I googled paw print. Printed it out and cut it out to make a stencil. Then I colored it in using chalk.

The sign on the front door greeted the guests.

Goody bags for the kids.

These were used making create-a-critter. Most of the decorations were made using this cartridge.

Don't feed the animals banner.

Monkey cake is from the Martha Stewart recipe. The banana cake was so delicious and I got so many compliments on it. The chocolate butter cream frosting tasted like Dunkin' Donut's frosting, soo delicious. Here is the link. http://www.marthastewart.com/339242/monkey-cake

The dry ice was such a great idea for the punch, it really did look like lava.

Thinking of You Gift

My Godmother's Mother just recently passed so I got her some of her favorite almond toffee and decorated the jar. I used Simply Sweet Cartridge for the letters and a Martha Stewart punch for the flowers. I used some rubber cement to adhere the paper to the jar and secured it with a little bow.

Here is the very simple card I made to go with it. All in all it was a very simple and easy project but I think it turned out great. Flower from Serenade.

Birthday Card for my little "booger"

I call my nephew booger. This is the birthday card I made him for his upcoming birthday. He loves trains and puppies.

Clouds, Train and dog are from Create-a-Critter. Grass and Boy are from Paper Dolls Dress Up. Balloon and the number 2 are from Life's a Party. I stamped Happy Birthday on to the cloud with a dollar stamp from Michaels. I love love love Michaels dollar stamps!! I love they way it turned out. I hope my little booger loves it just as much. I am sure he will point to it and say "Choo Choo" and "Puppy".

Happy Birthday Jungle Themed Banner

My nephew Nathaniel is turning 2 in a couple of weeks and I am helping throw a jungle themed birthday party for him. Here is the banner I made.

I used Simply Sweet Cartridge for the letters and Create-a-Critter for the animals. I think it turned out really great.

Sugar and Spice Baby Shower

I have been working on a baby shower I am co-hosting with my sister and so far I have made a banner. This is my first banner and I think it looks great.

I think it turned out pretty cute. Might add a flower or an animal or something before and after the sign and also maybe before and after the and sign.

I am going to hang this sign over the sweets (over chocolate fountain and what not) at the baby shower.  I think it will be pretty great.

It's been awhile!

Well I was busy the last month helping with my sister's wedding and it turned out beautifully. So now back to crafting. I have my nephews birthday and a baby shower that I am planning coming up so most of my time will be spent on projects for those.

Here is what the invitations look like for my nephew's 2nd birthday party. It's jungle themed. I used the Create a Critter Cartridge and a stamp I had bought at Hobby Lobby for the time and date info which I then embossed. I thank they are super cute.

Here is another birthday card I made for my best friend. I just love this cupcake. I realize I just made a card just like this but I think it is just so pretty. I used Create a Critter for the cupcake and Life's a Party for the numbers and flames.

Birthday Cards

Had a few birthdays this week so I decided to use my new favorite cartridge Create a Critter to make my friend Amber and my dad a card.

What I did for this birthday card is I made the cupcake using create a critter. The numbers are from Lifes a Party cartridge as well as the flames. I used the numbers and the layer options from the candles from that cartridge to make my own number candles. I also made the Make a Big Wish sentiment using a stamp I just bought last at Michaels in their dollar stamp bin. I then embossed it and put it on a phrase cutout from create a critter.

Both the balloons and the turtle came from create a critter. I think it turned out pretty cute :)
